Warranty & Guarantees
LIFETIME WARRANTY
AURUPT Custom & AURUPT Fine Jewellery pieces are made to the highest quality standard in the modern Jewellery industry. To back our world class standards, all AURUPT manufactured products hold a ‘LIFETIME GUARANTEE’. This covers your pieces with a 10 year warranty on quality of manufacture.
Whilst we make all of our pieces to last the tests of time, due to working with natural materials there can be some rare hidden faults within the structural integrity of a piece that we aren’t able to control.
Owning an AURUPT piece we like to give you peace of mind that should any manufacturing faults arise, you are covered.
WHAT OUR WARRANTY COVERS
Any manufacturing/structural faults due to metal integrity & brittleness.
WHAT OUR WARRANTY DOESN’T COVER
General wear & tear/ageing
Your piece will age as we all do ourselves, with time and general wear metal will slowly be removed from your piece which will result in thinning in certain areas. Mainly around stone settings, top and base of rings, and chain links or weighted areas like bails and clasps etc.
Accidental damage/misuse
Your piece of Jewellery has been made to last, but it is not unbreakable. Please see our blog post about ‘Jewellery Care’ for information and recommendations for general care and cautions to ensure your pieces are being well looked after & avoid any accidental damages.
All damage as a result of accidental damage is not covered by our warranty.
This includes: Scratching, broken/scratched stones, missing stones, pulling/bending or complete breakage of claw work & gallery details, bending of ring bands/pendants/earring posts etc, pulling of chain links, denting or crimping of solid & hollow pieces etc.
