Our Founder, Braydon Mosk
All it took was dragging a disgruntled teenager to a beading party with her old lady friends to change the course of Braydon’s career path and set the way for what he’s known for today.
Braydon began his jewellery career doing work experience for a local Brisbane jeweller and then a beginner’s course at the Goldsmiths School located in Bardon. Braydon then started working for Wallace Bishop and was put into a tafe based apprenticeship. “I was presented with a lot of opportunities at Wallace Bishop, and after a few short months I was moved to the Hardy Brothers section of the workshop, where I was trained under some hidden industry greats, working only on high end luxury Jewellery”.
Braydon entered multiple jewellery design and manufacturing competitions, all of which he won first place. After completing his apprenticeship, Braydon began his own business Mosk design while working as a head jeweller for other Brisbane jewellery brands.
The Beginning of Aurupt Jewellers
Established in 2020 right on the cusp of Covid by founder and director Braydon Mosk, AURUPT was built on a singular conviction: that every person deserves jewellery that is entirely their own. With 23 years of hands-on bench experience, Braydon Mosk has trained multiple apprentices, developed proprietary manufacturing techniques, and built a studio that has been recognised internationally, including multiple features in British Vogue.
What sets AURUPT apart is its refusal to compromise. The studio thrives on capturing emotion within a wearable art and does not produce anything that conflicts with its strict brand and quality standards. Every piece begins with a founder-led consultation process, a model that has achieved a conversion rate of over 80 percent and attracted clientele from across Australia and internationally.
In the past 12 months, AURUPT transitioned entirely away from wholesale and B2B revenue streams, backing a direct-to-consumer model that resulted in the business doubling its revenue target within a single financial year. This shift was not merely financial but philosophical, representing a commitment to craft, client experience and long-term brand integrity over volume.
Behind the brand is a team of skilled hands-on manufacturing jewellers, designers and administrators united by a shared standard of excellence. Founder Braydon Mosk leads from the bench, the boardroom and the content studio, building AURUPT not only as a jewellery business but as a legacy brand with a growing national and international presence.
